How to Install a Zero-Turn Mower Canopy (MowDome Guide)
Every MowDome kit installs in about 15 minutes with the included hardware — no drilling and no permanent changes to your mower. Watch the full installation below, then follow the overview steps. Your kit also ships with detailed printed instructions.
Before you start
- Confirm your mower has a factory ROPS roll bar and a front spindle width of 43″–48″ — here’s how to measure.
- Park on a flat surface, shut the mower off, and set the brake.
- Lay out the kit contents: two collapsible fiberglass poles with crossbar, mesh enclosure with solid roof, front and rear mounting hardware, and storage bags.
Installation overview
- Mount the front hardware. Attach the front mounts to your mower’s front spindles using the included clamps sized for your machine.
- Mount the rear hardware. Clamp the rear mounting brackets to the factory roll bar.
- Assemble the poles. Connect the collapsible fiberglass poles and crossbar, then seat them in the front and rear mounts.
- Fit the enclosure. Pull the mesh enclosure with the solid roof over the frame and secure it. Use the zippered doorway for entry and exit.
Removal is just as quick — the poles collapse and the whole kit packs into its compact storage bags.
