How to measure your mower
A tape measure is all you need. One pass/fail check first, then the two selections at the top of this page.
First, a pass/fail check — front spindle width must be 43″–48″. Measure across the tops of the two front caster spindles, outer edge to outer edge. Use the outer edges of the spindle tops, not the tires. Outside that range, no MowDome kit will fit.
Selection 1 — Front Spindle Diameter
Lay your tape across the widest part of the spindle top on one front caster spindle, outer edge to outer edge. That's the diameter. Match your number to the closest option: 2.25″, 2.5″, 2.75″ or 3″. This determines the front mounts that ship in your kit.
Selection 2 — ROPS (Roll-bar) Measurements
Your ROPS is the roll bar behind the seat, and the tubing is usually rectangular, so expect two different numbers. Measure one upright outside edge to outside edge on each face — once on the side face, once on the front or rear face — then match the pair: 3″x2″, 2″x2″ or 1.5″x3″.
The order doesn't matter. No two options share the same pair of numbers, so whichever way round you write them down, only one will match.
